Fund type: Grant

Purpose: To empower individuals with the vision, determination, and capability to establish and grow sustainable businesses.

Goal: To spark a ripple effect of prosperity, strengthening the Umuabali community for generations.

Who is eligible to apply:
1. Applicants must be citizens of Umuabali and reside within the community.
2. Existing business owners who demonstrate a proven ability to manage funds effectively.
3. New entrepreneurs with a detailed business plan outlining their vision, objectives, and steps to success.
4. Open to all genders, with no preference for specific Onu Ama or hamlet.

How to apply:
1. Applicants are to complete the Grant Application Form (SBAP-2025)
2. The application form is available at UCEF Office at the Umuabali Civic Centre or the Chairman, Umuabali Development Association or it can be downloaded here
3. All completed forms must be accompanied by a Business Profile (for existing businesses) or a Business Plan (for new businesses).
4. All completed forms must be returned to the UCEF Office, Umuabali Civic Centre before or by Monday, March 10th, 2025.

Beneficiaries are expected to:
1. Use the funds exclusively for their proposed business or trade.
2. Exhibit transparency and accountability in managing the funds.
3. Contribute back to the community as their business grows.
4. Serve as role models and ambassadors for positive change within Umuabali.
